Ah sadly this isn’t a one option fits all. Basically there are different rules for different bulbs. And apparently there are LOTS of different types of bulbs? Newer bulbs can be recycled at your local large recycling centre or at some stores and you can find lots of local places via websites like this one – WEBSITE

Older style lightbulbs cannot be recycled and you CANNOT put them in with your glass recycling, they are made from a different kind of glass. Unfortunately they just have to go in with your general rubbish.
