“Aisling, if you are, as you say, A PROFESSIONAL MODEL, can you model with a washing up liquid & make it look fab?”
“Of course Dave, I can make anything look high end.”
This is not a professional photoshoot or an ad, but a thank you to @ecover_uk ** for donating a few hundred bottles of liquid to me for my local food bank “The Florence Bennett Centre” serving East London. Also thank you to any business/person donating to your local bank. They & so many food banks are currently running low on both donations & VOLUNTEERS as many people can no longer help as they are going back to work. Do you have 2.5 hours a week of time to spare for your local bank to help pack up a few bags & boxes? I know not everyone can donate items or money. Covid has absolutely decimated so many people’s ability to buy the weekly shop, it must be an awful, panicky feeling. I found my local bank by heading to @trusselltrust & popping in my postcode. If you look at their DONATE FOOD page you can find what items the branches are in need of. They often look for things like – bars of soap, deodorant, long-life orange juice, tinned pasta/beans, clothing washing detergent, tinned carrots/potatoes/ meat, rice pudding/custard, jam, biscuits savoury or sweet. Please check first so they don’t end up with too much of anything.
Also @boots have their @hygienebank drop offs open again at many branches – if you spot one on your way in & can afford it, maybe consider buying a few basic toiletries too & throwing something into their donation boxes, they would be so gratefully received.
**Side note about Ecover, again not an ad, I just like that they are a greener option, make bottles from recycled plastic & if you have an eco shop nearby like I do, you can easily get refills for the bottles to use again.
