Sun’s in, guns in. This is my “AM I NOT ADORABLE?“ face. My #EcoOutfit today is a mish-mash of bits & prices. My gawwjizz dress is from @o_pioneersuk – my friend Clara’s new eco brand of Little Women type dresses which do cost a penny but are investment pieces if you have the money. They’re cotton, machine washable with pockets. POCKETS! I’ve thrown, in a jaunty fashion madam, a jumper I got last week from @crisis_uk charity shop for £6. Don’t just donate to charity shops, get in there and help them shift that stock. Have a root if you are wandering by. There’s still so much snobbery around shopping in charity shops. But its the OG vintage and eco shopping and you get to help out charities too. Check out the @oxfamonlineshop – they do free returns just like most online retailers. My trainers are from eco/ vegan shoe brand @veja . They need a bit of breaking in like a good horse. Her Former RH Megan Markle wears them, so you can use them to walk away from your in laws. My necklace is from @wolfandbadger which is a website which promotes and sells eco and ethical brands and small independent designers.
ALSO my phone cover is made of recycled materials & from @ethical.market – check them out for all sorts of things you didn’t think you could get eco/charity versions of.
Once again – none of this is an ad or paid for, I just like putting the word out about alternatives to the big, bad boys. Wherever you get your clothes, wear the shit out of them and before you buy think “Will I wear this 30 times?”. The #30WearsChallenge is because that’s how many times you would have to wear an item to offset the high amount of energy & water it takes to make one piece of clothing. TURTEE TIMES! @fash_rev @ohsoethical
